Golf Course Management principal Gary Dempsey introduced Ninja Tines to Australia in 2013 and developed the No Heavy Coring program of greens management at New South Wales Golf Club. A recent research project testing thatch accumulation in bent grass greens tested 43 greens in Sydney. The two greens from Gary’s program ranked first and second in thatch accumulation and scored first and second in homogenous profile development.
These tines are made from high quality Japanese steel and fit most modern turf coring machines. There may be some cheap imitations on the market but they do not come close to the original.
